Monciel Burmese Cattery
Monciel is a small home cattery dedicated to European Burmese cats – a breed we love for its elegance, intelligence, warmth and deeply human-oriented character.
Our cats live with us as part of the family. We believe that a truly beautiful Burmese cat is not only about appearance, but also about health, temperament, confidence and the special connection this breed creates with people.
About the Breeder
Monciel Burmese Cattery was created from a deep love for the European Burmese breed. I have been dedicated to Burmese cats since 2011, and the cattery was officially established in 2013.
Monciel is registered in two international systems — FIFe and WCF. My work is based on responsible breeding, careful selection, health, temperament and deep personal involvement in the life of every cat and kitten.
For me, Burmese cats are more than beautiful animals. They are intelligent, affectionate and deeply human-oriented companions with a special ability to become a true part of the family.
Our Philosophy
We do not see breeding as a matter of quantity. For us, every litter is thoughtful and meaningful. We carefully select our breeding cats, paying attention to health, temperament, type and the qualities we want to preserve in the European Burmese breed.
Our goal is to raise kittens who are beautiful, healthy, well-socialized and ready to become beloved companions in their future homes.
Health and Temperament
Health and character are at the heart of our breeding program. We value balanced, affectionate and confident cats with the gentle, curious and intelligent nature that makes Burmese so special.
We pay attention to genetic health, responsible pair selection and the long-term wellbeing of our cats and kittens.
Home-Raised Kittens
Our kittens are raised in a home environment, surrounded by daily human contact, care and love. From an early age, they become familiar with everyday family life, gentle handling and communication with people.
This helps them grow into social, trusting and affectionate companions.
European Burmese Type
We love the European Burmese for its refined balance: a strong yet elegant body, expressive eyes, a short silky coat and a warm, lively personality.
For us, the beauty of the Burmese is the harmony between appearance and character — elegance, intelligence and devotion in one cat.
